Scholars:
Be prepared for class -- in your seat before the bell rings with all necessary supplies and ready to work. Learn from your mistakes. Math -- like life -- is full of them. Don't hesitate to ask questions! Go over the material until you know. Study your notes. Ask questions. Each new concept references things already covered; don't wait to ask! |
Parents:
Make sure your scholars complete their homework and turn it in on time -- late assignments will not be accepted. If your scholar is absent for any reason, they are still responsible for the work that was due and was assigned. Make sure they turn it in to me early -- if possible -- or on the day of their return to school. Take-home tests will be given for each unit covered -- about 4 a semester. These are multiple choice tests, and work must be done (and turned in) on a separate sheet of paper. All due dates are listed on the syllabus provided in class.
